Jane and I had friends round for Christmas day – they are another couple who work at SAT-7, along with their three children. Outside our front door is an orange tree and some fruit hangs near the entrance to our apartment. I wanted to save the orange to have on Christmas day – 15 minutes after picking it I had turned it into juice and had drunk it. We didn’t pick many oranges when we were living in Aberdeen! It’s very strange that it’s warm and sunny through the day almost every day here – I was actually told off by someone at church last week – “don’t you feel cold? You should have a jacket on!” On Boxing Day we went to Limassol, about an hour away, on the south coast. This was to enjoy a fabulous meal with a colleague from work along with her family and friends. We hope you have a nice break and that you feel the real meaning of Christmas.
