Dear All,
I trust you are having a good start to the week! On Sunday we met at the Garioch Sports Centre and once again the Lord really blessed us. Although we knew many folk were going to be away, we were delighted to see 5 more folk come along who we’d not seen before.
After a time of worship we continued our journey through Acts, looking at the third chapter. It’s about the crippled man who was healed, then the ‘preach’ Peter gave the crowd after that amazing event. Peter and John looked approachable to that crippled man, who sat day after day at the gate Beautiful. We were challenged with the question ‘do we look approachable, someone who is able to meet the needs of folk around us in our communities? When we go shopping, do we actually LOOK people in the eye or just keep our heads down and stay in our own little bubble’? Peter’s sermon came after the people had seen the miracle. When people see God at work then perhaps they will listen to what it is all about.
We finished with about 15/20 mins open discussion followed by a CD solo of ‘Take my life and let it be …’ I look forward to seeing you at Lethenty for our midweek Wednesday gathering. Please keep praying for the leaders as they continue to seek the Lord in regard to many things including the multiplication of the @home groups.
